8/24/14 - MAFF @ Lake Cochituate - Team Beaver Meat
So a little last minute Dan from Beaver Fever decided to throw our hat into the ring for this one. Beautiful day, but team Beaver Meat's debut was a tough one. We just never found the right ones, or what they were biting. Probably caught 10 bass between to 2 of us, but only one keeper, yikes. Even the Pickerel bite was a little slow, haha. Random catch of the day, while fishing over by the Dam in North Pond, I caught a Rainbow Trout...On a spinnerbait...in 3 feet of water...that was close to 80 degrees...It was probably bigger than any of our Bass...haha. Congrats to the winners, and congrats to my boy Vinny and his partner James on 2nd & a Lunker! Good job guys! Ken, and Scott nice job running the tourney, and on 3rd. And despite the outcome, thanks Dan, it was good to fish with you. We will get them next time.
