i've been fishing both fresh and saltwater for over 30 years(since I was 5), I absolutely love fishing, along with playing paintball. just looking for new areas to fish. I frequent pocksha and great quiticas in lakeville, and some ponds up in plymouth, and for saltwater I mainly fish from shore (cause I don't own and can't afford a boat) at gooseberry neck/island in wesport ,MA. looking for some new "hot spots" to fish saltwater primarily for black sea bass.

went to pocksha pond early this morning, like around 5:30 am.I caught 2 smallies, a 2 pounder and a pound and a halfer. I pretty much know what baits that I own work in that pond, so the baits used are as follows:
smallie#1 was caught on a yo-ziri lipless crankbait, green back, silver sides, and orange belly.
Smallie #2 was caught on a 3/8 ounce football head jig/w a strike king rage tail craw in dirty craw color, texas rigged.
there were 4 other fish I saw caught by others, my friend Dave caught 2 smallies, and a largie, on yamamoto kreature baits. and the 4'th fish, a largemouth, was caught on live shiners.

went fishing this morning at gooseberry neck/island, had a great time!! baits used were green crabs, and sea worms. fish caught are as follows:
22inch striper on a green crab(I was shocked), 16 inch tautog, 13 inch tautog, 12 inch tautog, and 8 inch tautog all caught on green crabs. and last but not least a 13 inch black sea bass caught on green crabs. I didn't catch anything on the sea worms, the surf was really rough today. started my day all the way near the two towers that are standing on the island, then worked my way down the shoreline, in the direction of the parking lot.
